01Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of https://smalltypo.com/. By choosing to access or use the website, you acknowledge that these Terms describe important conditions and responsibilities relevant to that use.

If you do not agree with applicable Terms, please discontinue use of SmallTypo. These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains relevant data-handling practices.

02Description of Services

SmallTypo provides an online Unicode small text generator. The service converts supported letters into small-looking Unicode character variations, including small caps, superscript text, subscript text where supported, and other copyable text variations.

The small text generator is a text-formatting utility intended to help visitors personalize compatible digital content. It does not distribute font files or install fonts on a visitor’s device. Available functionality may evolve as the website is improved.

03Eligibility and Access

You must access and use SmallTypo in accordance with applicable laws and these Terms. The current free generator does not require an account. If a specific age restriction is required by applicable law, that requirement should be confirmed before publication and will apply as appropriate.

04Permitted Use

You may use SmallTypo for lawful, reasonable creative text purposes, subject to these Terms and applicable law. Examples include:

• Creating small text for personal profiles and compatible social media bios;
• Preparing creative captions, messages, and digital content;
• Experimenting with supported Unicode styles; and
• Other lawful personal or creative text uses.

05Prohibited Activities

You must not misuse SmallTypo or interfere with its operation. This includes attempting unauthorized access, bypassing technical restrictions, exploiting vulnerabilities, distributing malicious code, disrupting availability, or using automated systems to overload the service.

You must also not use the website or generated text for impersonation, fraud, unlawful harassment, deception, infringement of another person’s rights, or interference with other visitors. Ordinary copying of generated text is permitted because it is a central function of the service.

06Generated Text and User Responsibility

SmallTypo generates Unicode character variations from text submitted by visitors. You remain responsible for the content you enter and for your use of generated results. You should not use generated text to infringe rights, mislead others, or violate the rules of a destination platform.

Please review generated characters before sharing them and verify that they display as intended. SmallTypo does not guarantee that generated text is suitable for a particular purpose. SmallTypo retains rights in its website software and original site materials; it does not claim ownership merely because you enter or generate your original text through the tool.

07Unicode Text Compatibility and Limitations

Small text is generally produced by substituting characters with available Unicode symbols; it is not necessarily a smaller font size. Unicode styles have different character coverage, so not every letter, number, punctuation mark, or symbol has a matching small variant. Some characters may remain unchanged.

Results can vary between operating systems, browsers, apps, and installed fonts. Certain devices may show missing glyphs or a different appearance. Third-party platforms may also restrict special characters in usernames, profiles, or other fields. SmallTypo cannot guarantee compatibility with every app, website, browser, or device.

08Intellectual Property Rights

Subject to applicable law, SmallTypo’s branding, original website design, written content, software code, graphics, and site-specific illustrations are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or exploit those original materials beyond what applicable law permits without authorization.

Unicode characters are not owned by SmallTypo, and SmallTypo does not claim ownership of visitors’ original input text. Third-party trademarks and service marks remain the property of their respective owners.

09Third-Party Websites and Platforms

SmallTypo may refer or link to third-party websites or platforms. Those services are controlled by their respective operators, not SmallTypo, and their own terms and policies may apply. Compatibility with them can change without notice.

References to external platforms do not imply a partnership, endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation unless SmallTypo expressly states otherwise.

10Availability and Service Modifications

SmallTypo may maintain, improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue website functionality when reasonably necessary. Access may be interrupted because of maintenance, technical issues, hosting outages, browser compatibility changes, security measures, or service improvements.

We do not promise uninterrupted availability. If future paid services are introduced, significant changes affecting paying customers must also comply with applicable consumer laws and the relevant agreements.

11Free, Pro, and Custom Services

Free Service

The existing homepage small text generator is available free of charge.

Pro Plan and Custom Solutions

A Pricing page may describe planned premium capabilities. This does not mean Pro features are currently live, available for purchase, or part of an active subscription unless SmallTypo confirms this. Visitors may contact SmallTypo to discuss potential tailored services; any Custom engagement requires separately agreed scope, pricing, and terms.

Future Paid Services

If paid services launch, relevant pricing, payment, renewal, cancellation, refund, and subscription terms will be disclosed before purchase as required by applicable law.

12User Accounts, If Introduced

The current free generator does not require a user account. If SmallTypo introduces registered-user features later, additional account-related terms may apply. If account functionality already exists when these Terms are published, this section should be revised to reflect the actual service accurately.

13Privacy and Data Handling

Personal information is handled in accordance with the SmallTypo Privacy Policy. Please review that policy for details relevant to data processing. For privacy or service questions, contact support@smalltypo.com.

These Terms do not replace the Privacy Policy and do not make unsupported promises about whether text entered into the generator is stored, transmitted, or otherwise processed.

14Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, SmallTypo is provided on an “as available” basis without warranties that cannot be supported or lawfully excluded. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, complete accuracy of character mappings, consistent browser rendering, universal platform compatibility, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit consumer protections or other rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

15Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, SmallTypo will not be responsible for losses arising from temporary outages, unsupported Unicode characters, third-party platform restrictions, misuse by visitors, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

This limitation does not exclude liability where exclusion is prohibited by law and does not limit non-excludable consumer or statutory rights.

16Indemnification

Where permitted by applicable law, you may be responsible for losses, claims, or costs resulting directly from your unlawful misuse of SmallTypo or your violation of another person’s rights. This provision should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel for the applicable operating jurisdiction before publication and is not intended to impose obligations beyond what the law permits.

17Termination or Restriction of Access

SmallTypo may take proportionate steps to protect the website, visitors, and service integrity, including blocking abusive requests, restricting malicious traffic, suspending access to protected functions, or taking appropriate legal action. Any such action remains subject to applicable laws.

This section concerns access controls and does not imply that the current free generator includes user accounts.

18Changes to These Terms

SmallTypo may update these Terms when necessary because of service improvements, feature changes, legal requirements, or operational changes. Updated Terms will display a revised “Last Updated” date on this page.

SmallTypo does not promise advance email notice unless an applicable process exists. Material changes related to future paid services may require additional notice or consent where applicable law requires it.

20Severability

If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable under applicable law, that provision will be interpreted or limited only to the extent necessary, where possible, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
